Forum for participants and family members at the Mendenhall Valley Library

Participants, loved ones, and providers of Home and Community-Based Waiver Services, Community First Choice Services, and Personal Care Services are invited to participate in a Self-Direction forum to gain understanding and provide insight as Alaska explores Self-Direction. Forums are scheduled in Juneau, Fairbanks, Anchorage, Mat-Su, and Kenai, with separate sessions for participants and their families and providers.

What is Self-Direction? Self-Direction puts participants in control of their own life as they decide:

-Where the support will be provided
-What supports are needed/wanted
-Who will provide the support
-When the support will be provided
