TITLE: Work Incentive Planning Assistance (WIPA)

SPEAKER: Larissa Cummings, UAA Center for Human Development, WIPA (Work Incentive Planning Assistance) Project Director

Come learn about the WIPA project and what services they provide for transition age youth. Learn about the critical benefit issues common to this age group. Find out about a powerful work incentive for youth as they move from school to work.

Parents and Students in Transition meetings are held the third Thursday of each month.

The AK Chapter Down Syndrome Congress in conjunction with Special Olympics Alaska and with help from Stone Soup Group is sponsoring a series of lectures on what you need to know as you and your student with intellectual disabilities prepare your journey into adulthood.
