FASD Support and Discussion Group

September 29 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Join Stone Soup Group’s monthly FASD Support and Discussion Group every last Thursday of the month!

Time: 9:00am

Via ZOOM video meeting

Topic: Discussion on Interdependence Adult Children Living & Thriving

Speaker: Michael Rader
“As a child, and young adolescent, I faced numerous developmental growth issues that were never addressed because my diagnosis of FAS at birth was never discovered in paperwork and buried. At the age of 15 I began noticing health issues that have gotten worse over time and I finally began addressing when I was well into adulthood. At the age of 31, it was finally discovered that I was born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Though there is much more known today than when I was born, there is still a long way to go. Join me as I discuss the issues, complications, and successes I’ve faced and learn firsthand what it’s like living with FASD’s and how you can help others like me succeed in adulthood. Whether you might care for someone with FASD’s, know someone who lives with these conditions, or just want to learn more, I hope to see you there!”
