EmployAbility 201: A Jobz Club Program
March 16, 2018 @ 4:00 pm
Youth ages 16 – 22 are invited… to discuss what it means to find and keep employment.
Over 8-weeks students will learn soft skills for employment. These will include skills such as communicating, teamwork, work hygiene, networking and work attitude. They will work through the State of Alaska Jobz Club curriculum as a group to identify goals such as completing a job application, signing up or applying for technical classes or scheduling a work assessment. Students will build an advocacy plan and learn about self-disclosure.
EmployAbility 101 is available for youth ages 14-22 starting June 2018.
Contact Stone Soup Group if you have any questions, 907-561-3701.
