Supporting Alaskan Families who care for children with special needs.
Youth ages 16 – 22 are invited… to discuss what it means to find and keep employment.
Over 8 classes students will learn soft skills for employment. These will include skills such as communicating, teamwork, work hygiene, networking, and work attitude. They will work through the State of Alaska Jobz Club curriculum as a group to identify goals such as completing a job application, signing up or applying for technical classes or scheduling a work assessment. Students will build an advocacy plan and learn about self-disclosure.
EmployAbility 101 is available for youth ages 16-22.
Classes start on 5/30/19 and end on 6/20/19, meeting on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:45 pm.

Google will tell you who is in our community, but it can’t tell you whether other families would recommend them. We can help you find recommendations from other families, along with other details like what insurance plans are accepted.
